About Filth and Fortune

Filth and Fortune is a collective created by black and brown artists for black and brown artists to share their art in the form of apparel, fashion accessories and home decor.

In times as uncertain as these, we find the celebration of our minds as important as ever, including insuring that black and brown creatives and artists are able to create multiple consistent forms of income. Our mission is to create a platform that gives artists the space to tell their stories, literally and visually, in their own voice.

For far too long our stories have been told for us from a misguided perspective, which has lended itself to false narratives and stereotypes about black people and people of color. It's time we create and tell our own stories, not for mainstream popularity, but for us.
