The Broadcast

5LTH + Fortune began in 2016 as a blog site meant to be an inspiration to artists of color, working in all mediums in all corners of the world. And by association, it was also meant to inspire anyone who holds an appreciation for artists and entertainers of color. 

Fast forward to 2020, and now more than ever artists are at the forefront helping us keep our sanity, providing an often uplifting distraction to the chaos around us.

With regards to black artists, our calling to tell the stories of what's happening within our community and how we're dealing with it is even greater. Because we know things are going to get worse before they get better, and we also know we've been through much worse only to see much better.

The mission of 5LTH and Fortune is to capture it all, the filth and the fortune, and create a magic from it - a window into the essence of what has kept us going through the dark times.
